Are you accepting new patients to the practice?

Yes, we currently have openings in our practice. However, space is limited in order to provide personalized care to each patient. Once the practice reaches capacity, families will be placed on a wait-list and notified when a spot becomes available.

Dr. Hinrichs will speak with all families prior to signing up. This will be an opportunity to discuss any questions or concerns and determine if this practice will be a good fit!

This model allows personalized care and direct access to your pediatrician. The fixed price allows members to budget their healthcare finances without worrying about unexpected or hidden medical costs.

What does membership cover?

Membership includes: Checkups, Unlimited sick visits, Video visits, Routine vaccinations, School/camp/sports physical forms, Management of minor lacerations (stitches, staples, glue), Developmental and behavioral screenings, Counseling and guidance (nutrition, development, sleep, behavior, parenting, and more), Management of chronic pediatric conditions (ex: asthma, constipation, ADHD, depression, anxiety, etc), and Continuity of care and direct communication with any specialists involved in the care of your child.

Can membership be cancelled?

Yes. You can cancel whenever you need — you'll still have access for the rest of the month you've already paid for, and your plan won't renew after that

Yes, in order to provide the highest level of care to each family, the total number of patients in the practice will be limited. Once the practice reaches capacity, families will be placed on a wait-list and notified when a spot becomes available.

What about expectant parents?

Before the baby is born is the best time to find a pediatrician! By establishing with Core Care Pediatrics before the baby arrives you will be able to discuss any concerns, goals for when baby arrives and all questions. Once baby is born, Dr Hinrichs will come to your home for your initial visits!

Membership fees can either be charged to your bank account or credit card.

Yes, we recommend all patients have health insurance to provide coverage for catastrophic events, hospitalization, medications, and other expensive unexpected health needs.

What services are not covered in the membership?

Any out-of-office procedures, labs, or medical services from other medical providers such as specialist visits and in-patient hospitalizations are not covered in membership and will be billed to your insurance by those providers.

What is your policy on vaccinations?

Accepted Answer

Dr. Hinrichs believes in the effectiveness of vaccines to prevent serious illness and to save lives. If you do not intend to vaccinate your child, this practice is not a good fit for you. It is expected that members will vaccinate their children with complete series of routine pediatric vaccines according to the AAP guidelines, unless there is a specific medical reason preventing it.

Getting sick while on vacation is the worst! As a patient of Core Care Pediatrics you no longer have to search for the closest urgent care while out of town. If appropriate, virtual visits can be utilized.
